JUSTIN & CASIE TAYLOR: Founders & Ordained Minister

Happily married with four children. August 12, 2023 the Holy Spirit fell upon me and changed my life forever. All the running, searching, and bad things in my life now all make since. Despite all the in and out of incarceration, drugs, alcohol and crazy lifestyle I now know Jesus. I have found my identity in him. Shortly after my conversion I heard the Lord whisper Surrendered in my ear. As he teaches me more about my relationship with him and his ministry I now walk by faith and I'm led by the Holy Spirit.

TAYLOR ROBINSON: Co-founder/Ordained Minister

I rededicated my life to Christ August 14th 2013 and have been faithfully serving the lord ever since. God blessed me with a little boy that I love dearly. Even though I was born with cerebral palsy. God uses me for his glory and I will continue to serve him in whatever way he calls me. Philippians 4:13 says: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

PAUL OLDHAM: Minister

Born December 1979 in Alabama. The brokenness of my neighborhood and family broke me also. I hustled and stole from society to get everything I needed. The consequences were about 5 to 6 years in different jails and rehab institutions throughout the state of Alabama. I ended up serving 8 years in the Alabama State department of corrections during these years, I lost my family and my sanity. In 2017 enough was enough. I surrendered my life over to Christ at Brother Bryan's Mission in downtown Birmingham. I now have a beautiful wife and two amazing kids. I have a successful business which I use to help employ other people that had issues in their life. I serve in my church while driving the van for brother Bryan's Mission picking these men up and bringing them to Celebrate Recovery. I'm a minister in the jails and prisons. I've been a Celebrate Recovery leader for 4 years. I am Surrendered to Christ.

TODD & APRIL HOWARD: Ministers

Let me begin by saying I shouldn’t be here. But God stepped in and changed my story! I was held captive for around 15 years to addiction and mental health issues. After being on life support for several days following a heroin/fentanyl overdose, I opened my eyes to the surprise of the medical staff, and I knew I was ready to change. I sought help at a faith-based recovery program, and it was there in June of 2023 that I rededicated my life to God. After being appointed to the staff there, I realized I had a passion for helping others who struggle.  Following the direction God was putting on my life, I enrolled in college. I’m currently a student at Arizona State University working on a Counseling and Applied Psychology degree with a focus on substance abuse and addiction. My wife (April) and I are the ministry leaders of Sylacauga Celebrate Recovery @ St. Andrews. The decision to surrender my life over to the care of God was the best decision I’ve ever made. We are truly blessed by the best!

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

[9] Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: [10] If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. [11] Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? [12] Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
